Last April, Jeb Blount, Mark Hunter, Anthony Iannarino and I launched the first OutBound Conference (pictured above). It was a sales conference for salespeople and sales leaders who wanted to take ownership of creating their own sales opportunities, responsibility for filling their sales funnels, and to experience success bringing in record amounts of New Sales. We were amused and pleased that, in this age of inbound, social, sales enablement, account-based everything, and bandwagon jumping on every new sales tool/toy/trick flavor-of-the month, we filled a large ballroom with serious sellers looking for serious help. The conference was a smashing success; the feedback was incredible, and we knew we’d be doing it again.
Last month we finalized the dates for the second OutBound Conference to be held in Atlanta next April. Not only will Jeb, Mark, Anthony, and I be back for round two, but this time we’ve expanded the offering to include a full second-day of training tracks and breakout sessions so we (and other invited experts, see below) can go even deeper into the concepts covered on day one from the big stage.

Here’s my strongest advice: Check this out sooner rather than later. After just letting the people know who had expressed interest in the next OutBound, we completely sold out the first 100 early bird tickets. In fact the tickets were selling so fast earlier in the week while I was away on vacation, my OutBound colleagues kept harassing me with text messages because they didn’t want you to miss out on the chance to get the $299 discounted tickets before they were gone. So I hastily shot this video to post on social channels and share with you now:
There are a variety of great options. You can come on Day One to hear the the four of us share powerful concepts from our bestselling books. We will each be doing two sessions from the main stage – one more like a keynote and the other with more of workshop feel. There will also be a panel discussion and Q&A with the audience.
However, I’d argue the better value is to come for two days. Stick around for another full-day as trusted experts Deb Calvert, James, Muir, Larry Levine, and Shari Levitin (so stinking excited to have these gurus at OutBound!) join Jeb, Mark, Anthony and me leading a variety of training tracks and killer breakout sessions on everything from sharpening your sales messaging, conducting more effective discovery meetings, combining social as part of your OutBound efforts (yes, I just wrote that 🙂 ) to tracks for sales leaders on coaching the pipeline, increasing accountability without micromanaging and demotivating the team, and much more!
And I want to make a really fun offer to fellow car nuts and Porsche fans. Because we’re hosting this event in Atlanta – home of the Porsche Driving Experience Center (one of my fav places on the planet) right next to the ATL Airport – if there’s enough interest, I’ll work to organize a group session the day before OutBound at the Porsche facility. We’ll have a blast getting in-car instruction from a Porsche racing professional, and a chance to drive these amazing cars on the track. I’ve done this a few times and it’s not only first-class and ridiculously fun, but you pick up some great driving tips. And because I’m feeling generous and so pumped about OutBound, I’ll also treat one person who buys the full VIP OutBound package to their session at the Porsche facility. So, message me if you are interested in heading to the Porsche Experience Center with a group of fellow sales and car nuts and me, and I’ll see what I can put together. And one lucky VIP’s Porsche Driving Experience will be on me! (Drawing to be held in March with the winner contacted directly and posted here).
See you in ATL for the 2018 OutBound Sales Conference – Prospecting. Pipeline. Prospecting.
